American Jambalaya Recipe


1.Chicken (boneless) 2 cups (cut into cubes)
2.Beef steak (steamed) 450 grams
3.Four tablespoons of butter
4.24 Prawns (cleaned and cooked)
5.Basmati rice three cups
6.Flour one cup
7.3 Onion (finely sliced)
8.2 Green Shimla Chillies (seeds removed and cut into slices)
9.Tomato 675 grams (peeled and chopped)
10.2-3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
11.Thyme (chopped) two teaspoons
12.5 cups of water
13.Tobacco sauce 2-3 drops
14.Parsley as desired
15.Salt, black pepper powder to taste

Step by Step Instructions:

1.Add salt and black pepper powder to the chicken pieces.
2.Cut the steaks into small cubes.
3.Now melt the butter in a large saucepan.
4.Brown the chicken pieces in it and take it out with the help of a slotted spoon.
5.Reduce the heat and add onions to the pan and fry them.
6.After that, add the flour and fry the meatballs until golden brown again.
7.Now add beef steaks, capsicum, tomatoes, garlic and thyme to it and cook for 10 minutes while stirring continuously.
8.Now add the prawns and mix lightly.
9.After that add rice to the pan and add water.
10.Add salt, black pepper powder and tobusco sauce. Let it boil.
11.Once it boils, cook on medium heat till it becomes dry and the rice is cooked.
12.If the rice is not cooked and the water is dry, add a little warm water.
13.Finally add parsley and serve hot.
